Honoring Love & Legacy
Our Memorial Funds
At Plymouth Helping Hands for Animals, we believe that every pet deserves love, care, and the opportunity to live a happy, healthy life. Our Memorial Funds are a heartfelt tribute to the cherished animals and compassionate individuals who have left a lasting impact on our community.
These special funds provide lifesaving veterinary care for pets in need and help keep our Pet Food Pantries stocked, ensuring that no pet goes hungry and every animal gets the support they deserve. Through these funds, we honor the memory of beloved pets and animal lovers while continuing their legacy of kindness.
Jim Miller Fund For Critical Care
The Jim Miller Fund was created in memory of Jim Miller, a beloved Plymouth pet owner whose heart was as big as his love for animals. This incredible fund was made possible by a generous personal donation from Jim’s partner, Diane Walsh, a dedicated volunteer with Helping Hands.
Thanks to Diane’s heartfelt contribution, we were able to kickstart this fund with the goal of saving pets in desperate need of critical care. We’re fully committed to growing this fund and ensuring that no pet is left behind due to costly medical treatments.
Let’s honor Jim’s legacy by coming together to save lives and keep pets healthy when they need it most!

Wayne Botelho Memorial Fund
The Wayne Botelho Memorial Fund was created in loving memory of Wayne Botelho. His amazing family and friends have come together to honor his spirit by supporting the mission of Plymouth Helping Hands for Animals, with a special focus on our Pet Food Pantry at the Plymouth Center for Active Living (CAL).
Wayne’s legacy of love and generosity will continue to impact local pets and families in need, helping to ensure that no pet goes hungry. His memory lives on in every act of kindness we’re able to offer, thanks to his loved ones’ support.
Join us in celebrating Wayne’s life by spreading the love and making a lasting difference for pets in need!

Jane Pimental Memorial Fund
Jane was a true Plymouthian, born and raised right here in our community. A lifelong animal lover, Jane’s heart belonged especially to her beloved cats, and she was also a cherished patron of the Center for Active Living (CAL).
When Jane passed away in 2022, her family reached out to us with an incredibly thoughtful and heartfelt request—to create a memorial legacy fund in her name to support the Pet Food Pantry at the CAL. We were honored to help make this tribute a reality, and we couldn’t be more excited to keep her love for animals alive through this meaningful gesture.
This fund is a beautiful way to celebrate Jane’s life and continue her compassionate legacy, ensuring that pets in need will always have food and care. Thank you to Jane’s family for allowing us to be part of such a special and loving tribute!
