Our Pet Food Pantries

American Legion Post 40

Every Tuesday from 11am to 1pm, we provide pet food to anyone in need—because no furry friend should go hungry! The American Legion Food Bank for people is also open during this time.

Find us at: American Legion Post 40, 199 Federal Furnace Road, Plymouth

Want to help? Donations of pet food and supplies are always welcome! Drop them off on Tuesdays, or if that doesn't work, give us a call at (508) 591-3190, and we’ll arrange a pick-up. Spread the word, help a pet, and make a difference!

Center For Active Living (CAL)

On the 1st & 3rd Fridays of every month, we’re bringing the love (and the kibble!) to the Center for Active Living! Stop by 44 Nook Road, Plymouth starting at 11am (until supplies last) for some free pet food and treats—because our furry friends deserve full bellies and happy tails!

While you’re there, learn more about our mission, outreach programs, and local pet owner resources! Stick around, because right after we wrap up, the CAL’s Free Friday Shopping food pantry starts at noon—helping both people and pets in our community.

Join us, spread the word, and let’s keep those tails wagging!

Plymouth Family Resource Center

On the second Friday of every month from 10am – 1pm, the Plymouth Family Resource Center hosts its Free Family Market—and it’s not just for people!

Thanks to Plymouth Helping Hands for Animals and the MSPCA Cape Cod Community Outreach program, there’s free pet food and supplies for your furry family members, too! Because every belly—big or small, two-legged or four—deserves to be full.

Everyone is welcome, so stop by, grab some goodies, and let’s take care of our community together!

Veterinary Medical Assistance

At Plymouth Helping Hands for Animals, we know that pets are family, and their well-being is essential to the people who love them. One of our top priorities is easing the financial burden of unexpected veterinary expenses, because no pet should ever have to suffer due to the high cost of medical care.

Emergency treatments, life-saving surgeries, and routine vet visits can add up quickly, making it difficult for pet owners to afford the care their pets desperately need. That’s why we work tirelessly to provide financial assistance, essential resources, and guidance, ensuring that pets can get the medical attention they deserve—without their owners facing impossible choices. By stepping in during tough times, we help keep pets healthy, safe, and right where they belong—at home.

This mission wouldn’t be possible without our amazing sponsors, partners, and supporters. Your generosity fuels everything we do, from providing lifesaving veterinary care to stocking our Pet Food Pantries, ensuring that local pets in need get the care, food, and love they deserve. THANK YOU for being part of this compassionate movement!

A Special Tribute to Our Community’s Love for Animals

We are incredibly honored to have two special memorial funds dedicated to helping pets in need.

Our Memorial Funds provide:

  • Critical veterinary care for sick or injured animals who might otherwise go untreated.

  • Pet food and supplies to keep our community Pet Food Pantries stocked and ready to help.

These funds are a powerful testament to the love, kindness, and commitment of our community. Together, we’re making a lasting impact—one paw at a time.
