We believe in compassionate and

responsible care for all animals.

Our Mission

As a registered 501c3, all-volunteer, charitable organization, we are dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of pets and their owners.

We raise funds to help pet owners in need— covering veterinary care, pet food, supplies, and other essential pet-related supplies. No pet should suffer due to financial hardship, and we’re proud to step in and offer assistance!

Our reach spans Plymouth and surrounding towns, filling a unique and vital role in our community. One of our top priorities? Easing the financial burden of unexpected veterinary expenses, ensuring beloved pets stay safe, healthy, and right where they belong— at home.

But we don’t stop there! We also operate three incredibly busy Pet Food Pantries at: American Legion Post 40, Plymouth Center for Active Living/Council on Aging, and Plymouth Family Resource Center.

We are on the ground, 365 days a year, working tirelessly to help as many animals as possible. Our team is always planning fundraisers, outreach events, and awareness campaigns to expand our impact.

Everything we do is made possible by you! We rely solely on donations—both monetary and in-kind—to continue our mission. With your support, we will keep fighting for those without a voice: the animals.

Join us in making a difference!

Thank you for your support!

Our Services

Local Pet Food Pantries

We know that challenging times can make it difficult for pet owners to provide for their furry companions. Whether it’s due to job loss, unexpected expenses, or other financial hardships, no one should have to face the heartbreaking decision of choosing between feeding themselves or their beloved pets. That’s why we’re committed to ensuring that every pet has access to the food and essential supplies they need to stay healthy and happy.

Through our three Pet Food Pantries in Plymouth, we provide a safety net for pet owners struggling to make ends meet. These pantries offer not only pet food but also supplies like treats, litter, and other necessities—because every pet deserves to be cared for and loved.

Find our pantries at: American Legion Post 40, Plymouth Center for Active Living/Council on Aging, and Plymouth Family Resource Center.

We firmly believe that pets are family, and they should never have to go without. If you or someone you know needs assistance, we’re here to help. Together, we can ensure that pets stay well-fed, cherished, and right where they belong—with the people who love them most.

Unexpected veterinary expenses can put a huge strain on pet owners, but no animal should have to suffer due to fixed income limitations or financial hardship. That’s why we’re here—to ensure that pets receive the urgent treatments, life-saving surgeries, and essential check-ups they need to stay happy and healthy.

When pet owners are faced with tough decisions, we offer a lifeline, ensuring beloved pets receive the care they need to stay safe, healthy, and at home where they belong. From emergency procedures to routine wellness visits, we believe that every pet deserves access to quality veterinary care, no matter their owner’s financial situation.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we’re able to ease the burden for pet owners in need, giving them peace of mind and their pets a brighter future. Together, we’re changing lives—one pet at a time.

Every pet deserves a happy, healthy life, and we’re dedicated to making that happen!

“I love all of the programs at the CAL and I especially love the pet food pantry! I think it’s a wonderful thing for seniors in the community. It helps me a lot because I’m on social security, so things like this, the Friday food shopping, and the cafeteria at the CAL are really helpful.”

“I am a widower and was a supporter of Helping Hands before I found myself in a tight financial situation. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats, all rescues, and this organization has been so helpful to me. I’ve also reached out when I had things going on at the vet and Beth was awesome. A++”

“I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, it helps tremendously with my budget. My husband and I have been on a fixed budget for over 10 years and when covid hit, our budget was thrown out the door. I didn’t think I’d be able to be involved with such a great program. Not only does it help me, but I try to help my mom who is 90. I get her cat food and kitty litter so she’s not carrying it. It helps a lot and it’s wonderful!”

“It was so stressful and hard watching her and not knowing what the outcome was going to be. I know we adopted a senior dog, but I want her to live with us for as many years as possible. Thank you for everything you do. We are so grateful!”

Thank you for all you havee done not only for my family, but I’m sure many others.”
